Lets discuss your interest in joining Nebraska's oldest fire department. 

REQUIRMENTS

  • Must be 19 years of age or older 

  • Reside within the jurisdictional limits of the city 

  • Must be a resident of the city for 6 months 

  • Pass criminal background check 

  • Possess a valid Nebraska Drivers License 

  • All applications will be accepted by the fire chief

  • Before an application will be forwarded to the department for consideration a criminal background check will be completed

  • After successful Interview with the fire chiefs. applications then will be presented to designated company .

  • Candidate then will become a probationary member of the department. pending approval from city council.
